Editorial Piece for Archaeologist Raksha Dave

For a conceptual editorial project, I design a portrait piece of the Archaeologist Award Winner, Raksha Dave. After playing with several design, I chose to design the portrait of her as a bust that is eroding away. This idea came from an interview she gave, where she discussed how the archaeology world is slowing declining due to lack of people and funding in her field. I had a lot of fun researching Raksha, and getting to learn more about the archaeologist community.

These bookmarks and notebook were assignments for a class project. I wanted illustrations that were fun, bright, and water themed. Creating projects that are pure fun, are some of the little things in life that make it great. After completing these pieces, I became very fascinated with stationary designs and have several more pieces in the works.
